High-Strength Titanium
S-PARTS Grade 5 Titanium (Ti-6Al-4V) is sourced through a civil aerospace-industry titanium supply chain.
The selected material has an average tensile strength exceeding 1,050 MPa, compared with the industry minimum of 895 MPa.
S-PARTS titanium fasteners offer mechanical performance comparable to Grade 10.9 steel fasteners while weighing approximately half as much as steel.
Precision CNC Machining
Precision CNC-machined with micron-level tolerance control for accurate, smooth-fitting threads.
Surface Finishes
Gold, Rainbow, Black and Blue finishes use a PVD nitride coating to increase surface hardness and impact resistance.
Green, Purple, Candy and Indigo finishes use an anodized finish. The oxide layer produces the titanium color through light interference and increases surface hardness and corrosion resistance.
Please Note
The Candy finish has a flowing and irregular color pattern, making each piece unique.
Some screws may show fine white lines around the threaded area. This is a normal result of the coloring process and does not affect normal use.
Please confirm that this screw matches your specific Trek Madone seatpost before ordering. Follow the torque specification marked on the seatpost when installing.
