Grade 5 Titanium
S-PARTS works with a civil aerospace metal supply chain in Xi'an and applies strict material selection and testing standards to its titanium fasteners.
The Grade 5 titanium used by S-PARTS has an average tensile strength of over 1050 MPa, exceeding the stated industry benchmark of 895 MPa.
Under the same conditions, S-PARTS Grade 5 titanium fasteners offer mechanical performance comparable to 10.9-grade steel components, while weighing approximately half as much as steel hardware.
Precision Hot Forging & CNC Machining
The bolt head is formed using a custom S-PARTS forging die at a processing temperature of approximately 650°C. To maintain machining precision during high-temperature production, each forging die is used for no more than 300 forming cycles.
The fastener body is precision-machined using precision multi-function CNC equipment, with a micron-level tolerance control system applied during production to achieve precise thread fit and dimensional control.
PVD Vacuum Nitriding Finish
Gold, Oil Slick, Black and Blue finishes use a PVD vacuum nitriding coating process.
This process forms a dense nitride metal layer on the surface, enhancing surface hardness and impact resistance. The finish extends into the surface layer of the component, helping the color remain stable under normal use and resist natural fading from everyday exposure to rain, mud and road conditions.
Anodized Finish
Green, Purple and Candy finishes use an electrolytic anodizing process.
During anodizing, an oxide layer of different thicknesses is formed on the titanium surface. The interaction between the oxide-film thickness and light creates the distinctive colors through light interference.
No dyes are used to create these colors.
Color Notes
Candy: Due to the coloring process, the overall color has a flowing and naturally varied appearance. Color distribution is intentionally random, so the actual color pattern may vary from piece to piece.
Thread Area: White lines or lighter areas may appear around the threaded section as a normal result of the coloring process. This is a normal feature of the finish.
