⚠️ IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE: Strength grade selection must strictly follow the original equipment manufacturer's (OEM) specification. Always consult your bike or component manual to verify the required threadlocker grade before application. Applying an incorrect strength grade to fasteners intended for frequent maintenance can cause severe thread stripping or damage during disassembly.
Overview
Secure Your Performance. Protect Your Premium Titanium Hardware.
S-PARTS Bicycle Threadlocker Adhesive is engineered specifically to meet the demanding requirements of titanium alloy bolts and fasteners on premium bicycles. It completely seals thread gaps to eliminate loosening caused by constant trail vibration, road impact, and repeated rotational stress.
Available in Medium Strength (Blue, 10ml) for standard component assembly, and High Strength (Red, 5ml) for heavy-duty fasteners requiring maximum chemical locking security. Always match the compound grade to the OEM-recommended specification for your specific bolt location.
How to Use
-
Surface Prep: Thoroughly clean the threads. Ensure the surface is completely dry and free of oil, grease, workshop debris, or old adhesive residue.
-
Precise Application: Apply a small amount of threadlocker to the thread root, covering the engagement zone on one side of the fastener (typically 7–8 threads). A thin, uniform layer is sufficient. Crucial: Apply a small amount near the base of the thread only.
-
Torque to Spec: Tighten the fastener immediately to the manufacturer's specified torque value using a calibrated torque wrench. This ensures the fluid distributes evenly around the full thread.
-
Curing: Allow 24 hours for the adhesive to fully dry and cure before putting the component under active riding load.
-
Disassembly: Use the correct premium tool for the fastener. If the bolt feels excessively tight or resistant, apply localized, gentle heat to soften the cured resin matrix before removal.
