Strong and Lightweight
S-PARTS selects its Grade 5 titanium through ongoing laboratory comparison and testing. The material has an average tensile strength exceeding 1,050 MPa, well above the 895 MPa industry standard stated in the product specifications.
Under comparable conditions, the material offers mechanical performance comparable to 10.9-grade steel fasteners while weighing approximately half as much as steel.
Precision Manufacturing
The bolt head is formed using custom tooling and hot forging at approximately 650°C. Each forming die is used no more than 300 times to help maintain forming accuracy at high temperature.
The bolt body is CNC machined using precision equipment with micron-level tolerance control, producing accurately machined threads.
PVD & Anodized Finishes
Gold, Rainbow, Black and Blue use a PVD nitride coating that forms a dense surface layer to improve surface hardness and impact resistance. The color is designed to remain stable under normal wear and exposure to rain and mud.
Green, Purple and Candy use an electrolytic anodizing process. Different oxide-layer thicknesses interact with light to create the characteristic titanium colors without conventional dyes, while also increasing surface hardness and corrosion resistance.
Color Note: The Candy finish has a naturally flowing and irregular color pattern due to the coloring process, so the appearance may vary from piece to piece. Some bolts may also show fine white lines around the threaded area. This is a normal result of the coloring process.
