High-Strength Grade 5 Titanium

S-PARTS carefully selects high-performance titanium alloy through a specialized metal-material supply chain and continuous laboratory testing.

The selected titanium material achieves an average tensile strength exceeding 1050 MPa, providing a high level of mechanical strength for precision bicycle hardware.

Compared with conventional steel hardware, titanium offers an excellent strength-to-weight ratio and significantly lower density. This allows titanium fasteners to reduce weight while maintaining the high strength required for demanding mechanical applications.

For performance-focused road bikes, the combination of high strength, low density and corrosion resistance makes titanium an ideal material for lightweight hardware upgrades.

Precision Hot Forging & CNC Machining

The bolt heads are formed using S-PARTS custom-designed hot-forging tooling at approximately 650°C.

To maintain consistent forming precision during high-temperature production, each forging die is used for no more than 300 cycles before replacement.

The fastener bodies are precision-machined using S-PARTS CNC equipment. Tight dimensional and thread-tolerance control helps produce clean, consistent threads and reliable component fit.

Every fastener is manufactured with close attention to dimensional consistency, thread engagement and surface quality.

Titanium Surface Finishes

Gold, Rainbow, Blue & Black

These finishes are produced using a PVD vacuum nitriding process, forming a dense surface layer on the titanium that improves surface hardness and resistance to wear and impact.

The process creates a rich metallic finish while providing additional surface protection for the hardware.

Green, Purple, Candy & Indigo

These colors are produced through electrolytic anodizing.

During anodizing, an oxide layer forms naturally on the titanium surface. The thickness of this layer affects how light is reflected and refracted, creating the characteristic vivid colors of anodized titanium.

No conventional dyes are required to create these finishes. The colors are generated by the optical properties of the anodized titanium surface.

For hydraulic brake components, follow the manufacturer's recommended installation and torque procedures.
