The S-PARTS Grade 5 Titanium Headset Shim is designed for 52mm internal cable routing headset systems compatible with 28.6mm forks. Available in two thin profiles, 0.5mm and 1mm, it provides a lightweight option for fine adjustment in compatible headset assemblies.

S-PARTS uses custom-designed dies to hot-forge its titanium components at 650°C. Each forging die is used for no more than 300 cycles as part of its manufacturing precision control process.

Grade 5 Titanium: Strength and Lightweight Design

The Grade 5 titanium material used by S-PARTS has an average tensile strength exceeding 1,050 MPa, according to the supplied material specifications. Its high strength-to-weight ratio makes it suitable for lightweight bicycle component applications.
