Designed for the rear upper link pivot of the Specialized Epic 8, this S-PARTS x FENG Series bolt set combines Grade 5 titanium construction, precision CNC machining, and distinctive titanium finishes in a lightweight 4.9 g/set package.

FENG Series Collaboration

The FENG Series is a collaboration between S-PARTS and Feng Kuanjie, a well-known Chinese mountain bike rider known as “Mountain God” (山神).

Feng Kuanjie participated in the development and testing of the pivot bolt set, providing feedback throughout the design and refinement process.

Grade 5 Titanium Performance

Made from Grade 5 titanium (Ti-6Al-4V), the bolts offer a high strength-to-weight ratio while reducing weight compared with conventional steel hardware.

Based on the provided product comparison data, titanium hardware of the same volume is stated to provide approximately 40% higher strength and 35% lower weight than the original aluminum hardware.

The high specific strength of Grade 5 titanium also addresses the deformation concern associated with original aluminum pivot hardware under prolonged high-impact riding conditions.

Precision CNC Machining

The complete pivot bolt set is precision CNC machined to achieve accurate dimensions and close mating with the corresponding frame pivot hardware.

The bolt-end geometry and bearing contact surfaces are carefully machined to provide close, even contact at the pivot interface, helping distribute load more evenly and maximize bearing service life.

Titanium Color Finishes

Nine finishes are available: Gold, Rainbow, Titanium, Black, Blue, Purple, Green, Candy, and Indigo.

Depending on the finish, titanium coloring uses different surface-treatment processes to create the desired appearance.

Candy Finish: Due to the coloring process, the color pattern has a naturally flowing appearance and may vary from piece to piece. Each set can therefore have a unique color distribution.

White Lines on Threads: Some bolts may show white lines around the threaded area. This is a normal result of the coloring process and does not affect normal use.
