FENG Series Collaboration

The S-PARTS x FENG Series was developed and tested in collaboration with Feng Kuanjie, a prominent Chinese mountain bike racer known as “Shan Shen” (Mountain God).

Feng Kuanjie participated throughout the development process, from material selection and structural design to testing feedback and detail refinement. This rear shock mounting bolt is part of the FENG Series developed for the Specialized Epic 8.

Grade 5 Titanium Construction

Made from Grade 5 Titanium (Ti-6Al-4V), this rear shock mounting bolt offers a lightweight alternative to conventional bicycle hardware while maintaining the strength and durability expected from titanium components.

According to the supplied product data, for bolts of the same volume, the titanium alloy provides approximately 40% higher strength and 35% lower weight compared with the original aluminum bolts.

The bolt is precision CNC machined for accurate dimensions and a close, consistent fit with the corresponding mounting interface.

Precision-Machined Contact Surface

The bolt end and bearing-contact surface are precisely machined to provide close contact with the suspension hardware and more even load distribution across the contact area.

This precision machining helps maintain a clean and consistent interface between the bolt and surrounding suspension hardware.

Nine Color Options

Available in Gold, Rainbow, Titanium, Black, Blue, Purple, Green, Candy, and Indigo.

Depending on the finish, the titanium hardware uses the specified vacuum nitriding or anodizing process.

The Candy finish features naturally flowing and variable color patterns due to the coloring process, so the exact color distribution may vary from piece to piece.

Some bolts may also show fine white lines around the threaded area. This is a normal result of the coloring process and does not affect normal use.
