S-PARTS Grade 5 Titanium Fork Steerer Expander for COLNAGO Y1RS
Designed specifically for the COLNAGO Y1RS, this S-PARTS Fork Steerer Expander Kit is available in XS, S, M, and L sizes. Each size-specific kit includes a Y1RS-specific fork steerer expander shaft, splined expander nut, and expander bolt.
Made from Grade 5 Titanium (Ti-6Al-4V), the components combine high strength, low weight, corrosion resistance, and fatigue resistance. The titanium material has tensile strength comparable to 10.9-grade steel, while the titanium hardware provides approximately 50% weight reduction compared with comparable steel hardware, based on the supplied product specifications.

Installation
- Tool required: 5 mm hex key.
- Apply medium-strength threadlocker between the fork steerer expander shaft and the splined expander nut during assembly.
- Apply a suitable titanium anti-seize compound during installation to help prevent seizing and make future disassembly easier.
- Important: The splined expander nut is compatible only with S-PARTS fork steerer expander shafts.
- Select the correct XS, S, M, or L version for your COLNAGO Y1RS configuration.
