Lighter Than the Original Cast Aluminum Parts
S-PARTS uses mechanical simulation to calculate how load is distributed through each part. Material is concentrated where stress is highest and removed where it is not: thicker at the load points, ultra-thin elsewhere. The result is a weight significantly lower than the original cast aluminum parts.
Precision SLM 3D Printing
Every printed part is made on an industrial SLM metal 3D printer from high-purity Grade 5 titanium powder, with a 20 μm powder layer for a fine surface. Each part then goes through more than ten steps, including stress-relief annealing, hand finishing to remove supports, thread tapping and surface treatment.
Anodized Colors and Patterns
Multi-layer anodizing creates vivid color on the titanium surface, from solid colors to bold patterns. The thin-shell design suits the clean lines of a carbon road bike.
Installation Notes
- Bolt-to-rail angle: 80° to 90°. Adjust the saddle clamps and the saddle rail position so that, once tightened, the bolt set sits at 80° to 90° to the rails. Installing outside this range risks damage.
- Recommended torque: front bolt 4-5 Nm, rear bolt 6-7 Nm.
- Rider weight limit: 90 kg (198 lb).
